Advertising Options
There is no charge for text links and associated descriptions in the body of the Directory. (Add Link) Four options are available for placement of paid ads on Thirty Thousand Feet™. These are indicated in green on this page.
- Top banner. This is a 468x60 pixel banner ad at the top right of the page. One per page only.
- Sidebar ("skyscraper"). An ad in the left navigation bar, 160 pixels wide.
- Embedded feature. This includes a static (animation-free) image up to 150 pixels wide, plus associated descriptive text. The image can link to the advertiser site, and the descriptive text can contain text links. The feature ad has the same background color as the left sidebar to differentiate it from the page background color.
- Bottom banner. The 728x90 pixel banner at the bottom of the page.
Terms and Conditions Highlights

- Placement is first come first served for available placements.
- All advertisements must be suitable for general audiences.
- All ad images require prior approval. Animations and "shocking" colors or designs will likely be rejected.
- Ad image size (bytes) should be small. This site strives for accommodate low bandwidth visitors. Use appropriate image resolution and compression.
- Ad hosting can be on our server or yours. Our hosting service has proven to be fast and reliable. Hosting on your server lets you monitor page views.
- Thirty Thousand Feet™ retains the sole right to determine suitability of all ads for placement on this site.
Charges & Payment
- Rates are on a per page (not site-wide) and per month basis.
- Payment is required in advance, by check or PayPal.
- Contact Thirty Thousand Feet to request a current rate sheet.
