  • AircraftRecognition.co.uk  This is a free online aircraft recognition guide that is aimed at improving your aircraft recognition skills.  Find the relevant information on each aircraft, online polls, quizzes, and downloads.
  • Airport Spotting Blog  News, stories and guides to airports around the world.  Where to spot, what airlines to see, what hotels to use.
  • Ar & Ed's Dutch Aviation Page  Aviation photography in the Netherlands.  Civil and military aircraft, mostly from Amsterdam Airport Schiphol, but also other Dutch airfields, museums and airshows.  Information for spotters.
  • bgspotters.net  A Bulgarian site about aviation and spotting.
  • CI Aviation  The aim of this site is to provide a colourful collection of aviation images from the Channel Islands and to promote all aspects of aviation within the Channel Islands with a special emphasis on Guernsey.
  • Le Cirque Volant - the aviation photographers journal  This subscription e-magazine is for aviation photographers, enthusiasts, and spotters around the world and publishes aviation images taken by amateur and professional photographers.  The magazine contains high quality aviation images, in-depth photographic articles about specific aircraft, and articles about aviation photographers and technique.  Contributors are amateur and professional aviation photographers who have joined the Flickr group.
  • Extreme Spotting - Airliners In Flight  This site is for people who take photos of planes at cruising altitude, and includes a rich collection of quality pictures of airliners in flight.  Enthusiasts can exchange information and photos in the forum.  Daily news updates, interesting articles and aviation-photography tips.  Original in Polish or English, but with multi-language support.
  • HoustonSpotters.net  A website for spotters around George Bush Intercontinental Airport (KIAH), William P. Hobby airport (KHOU), as well as other surrounding airports in the Houston, Texas area.  The site has spotting resources and a guide, a forum with discussions about upcoming and past events, and a database with photographs taken around Houston airports.  The Spotting 101 section covers topics of interest to new spotters and others who just want to learn about the hobby.
  • Jetspotter.com  A website displaying aviation photographs from Brisbane and Australia taken by the webmaster and others.
  • Landing Lights  A place to share photos, stories, and opinions from the perspective of the planespotter and aviation enthusiast.  The goal is to expose more people to planespotting and to foster discussion between planespotters.
  • Lecospotters  A Spanish blog about aviation and aerial photography.
  • LPH2O...because airplanes are birds!  A good site with airplane pictures from several airports, and also some technical information.
  • NYCAviation.com  This enthusiast site started for New Yorkers, but has now expanded beyond the city limits to include the rest of the country and soon the rest of the world.  They have some airline news, a "This Day In Aviation" feature, in-depth forums, guides for planespotting at various airports and a bit more.
  • OPShots.net  Chronicling the aircraft that visit Cleveland Hopkins International Airport - everything from the mundane to the unusual and rare, from the eighties to the present.  You will also find galleries featuring photos taken by the OPShots Photo Team, a dedicated group of local photographers, and a community forum for local and abroad aviation happenings.

  • Scramble  Home of the Dutch Aviation Society, for the civil and military aviation enthusiast: the monthly magazine "Scramble," spotter conventions, bus and air trips for aviation enthusiasts, airshow information, airfield information for European spotters, Dutch civil aircraft register.
  • Spot2Log  Aviation spotting log software that links your digital photos to your logs.  Aircraft enthusiasts can note and compile lists of markings, aircraft registrations, livery, code letters and the airline the aircraft is operating for.
  • Spotterblog.de  This German blog reflects the activity in Nordholz (ETMN), as well as trip reports and many spotting tips.
